As one of the founders of Onomatopee, Freek Lomme tries to connect a diverse spectrum of creatives. Together with Remco van Bladel and the other team members he established Onomatopee as a cultural intervention, researching the boundaries of our varying society. Opposed to the conclusions I made in my bachelor thesis, I was enormously curious about the opions of other creatives. Especially, what a cultural institution like Onomatopee thinks of that, because it's in the middle of this diverse world of creatives, all specializing in a discipline. What about working together with others, or get things done even better, faster and more original. To me it seems like the ultimate goal of a creative, cross-linking with others, only then, there will be a timeless product. Whether an architect creates it or a musician.
